Be in the know!  Please read this page before your visit

Updated: March 12, 2022

We look forward to enjoying the outdoors this winter on over 400 acres of terrain! Skiing and snowboarding provide vital winter physical activity and help sustain healthy strong families. Harper Mountain’s goal is, and continues to be, to keep employees, guests, and our local community safe.

Harper Mountain supports BC’s Provincial Health orders and recommendations. We will continue to monitor and update these practices using the guidelines set out by the BC Public Health Office and Industry Associations.  At this time, proof of vaccination is NOT required outside to ski, snowboard, snowshoe, XC Ski, Tube, or inside the lodge with exception of the cafeteria.  Face masks are recommended for all indoor spaces.  Proof of vaccination will be required to eat in our licenced cafeteria.  Ordering and pick up will be available for takeout.

To enhance the safety and health for both our guests and staff

  • Washroom access is through the outside doors.
  • Enhanced cleaning and disinfecting procedures have been implemented.
  • The hill may close at -20 degrees Celsius. These changes will be communicated on our website and via our social media channels.
  • All staff will be required to do a health screening before every shift and staff who are ill will not be permitted to work.

Season Pass & Tickets

  • Ticket sales at the mountain: Ski Lift, Tube Park, Snowshoe, Nordic, and Ski Touring are available in the ski shop located on the lower level of the lodge, slope side.
  • If there is a government shutdown for 30 days or more, Passholders will receive a credit towards your 22/23 Season Pass.  Credit amount depending on the length of the shutdown.

Inside The Lodge

  • At this time proof of vaccination for age 12 & up is only required for those eating in the cafeteria.
  • We will have take out and seating available outside
  • Order food inside
  • To accommodate our guests that are purchasing food from our cafeteria, we are limiting cafeteria seating to those guests purchasing food.
  • Restaurant Guidelines will be followed.

Snow School/Rental Shop

  • Group and private ski and snowboard lessons will be available for all ages.
  • We will continue to rent skis, snowboards, boots, poles, and helmets. All rental equipment will be disinfected between each guest with certified, approved disinfectant.
  • Please follow the directional signage.
  • Rental Shop/Ski School will encompass the entire downstairs with a one-way flow in and out of the building.  Allow for extra time for the rental process..
